ForestLOD question
« on: March 26, 2015, 09:00:11 AM »
Is it possible to use forest objects in forestLOD? I'm trying to use different forest grass presets, like detail presets near camera and large presets far from camera. Thanks

Yes it's possible, but each Forest is handled as a static mesh, loosing all its properties. So, it's not a good idea after all.

In the case you propose, i suggest to create two Forest objects and use Camera->Distance Falloff->Density, applying different curves for the nearest and farthest object.
