Camera limit & Batch render

Is there any news about Camera visibility limit and Batch Render problem? Or some alternatives to 3Ds Max Batch Render that does work with Forest?
My forest objects are getting more and more complicated and I have to keep camera visibility on because otherwise it render double-time or crashes.

Hi,

Upon our tests with latest 3ds Max (2016) & V-Ray (3.20.03) the Camera - Auto assign to active view feature / Apply to Look At (I suppose you are referring to those) works fine while using the Batch Render. We've tested it successfully with 3ds Max's Free camera, VRayPhysicalCamera and latest Physical camera.

In case you'll be facing any issues with it, please let us know. Thanks in advance.

Does it also work when changing cameras with the batch render?

Hi,

Yes, the Auto assign to active view feature correctly assign the camera used by the Batch Render (when rendering multiple "views" it's reassigning the corresponding camera for each of those).

Thank you, I will try it tonight.
Does it also work with V-Ray 3.25 nightly? I am on 3.20.02 at the moment and if I update it I probably pick a more recent version then 3.20.03.

Hi,

As far as we know there are no changes in the V-Ray 3.25 build respect it and it should work without any issues.
