Hi,

I am trying to distribute a selection of curtains to a spline which is broken to indicate the window positions.

Ideally I would like to do this with forest pack and add some objects as empty so that not all windows have a curtain.

I cant seem to get the curtain to sit within the spline without crossing over into the next area.

Is there a way to lock the object within the spline area without it crossing over?

I have a attached a basic screen shot to illustrate the problem.

Any advice would be great thanks! ;)

Hi,

For these purposes, you might find useful Creation Tools features (under Tree Editor > Custom Edit mode), where you can pick the spline as path using Along the Path button and choose the In vertex positions mode.

To add some "empty" items, you can Add new item (under the Geometry rollout), set it to Disabled and adjust its Probability value as needed.

Hope that helps.

Best regards,

Hi Michal,

Thanks for the quick response!

The way you suggested worked well with a few tweaks  ;)
