Hanging Ivy

Hi All,
If we want to make the Ivy hanging from a roof or a gazebo how to do it with Forest Ivy.

Hi All,
I think there is no way to use Ivy to hang them from roofs or gazebo's thats why there is no replies.
Hope someday Itoo Guys will make it possible.

I think the solution is simple. Just create an object that won't render and draw the FPIvy itself on top of it. Then increase the gravity on the Ivy to achieve the correct effect.

That's it. I attached a sample scene (both in Max 2022 and .fp format).

These are the most relevant parameters:

- Gravity: 100% (it can be greater that 100%, if you like)
- Adhesion: 0% (Ivy is not attracted by the surface)
- Climbing: 0% (although is not essential, because Adhesion is zero).
- Death Distance: use it to define the maximum length of the climbing branches.
