I love the paint tool for including/exluding areas. but I for the life of me can't figure out how to paint objects into the scene like the preview video. I would like to paint some rocks!

The rocks in the video are painted as an include area using a brush of similar size than the painted elements. To paint only rocks, we used the "Select Elements" option under "Override Dist. Map" in the Areas Rollup:

In this window is possible to filter the main distribution and place a different set of models for each area. After selecting in this window, you can use the paint tool to place these elements in any position.
