render node with stand alone license
« on: April 26, 2019, 02:07:59 PM »
render node with distributed render does not render default libraries of fp,it sees user library like viz trees but not the layered lawns or grass from forest library itself. I have a stand alone license on my computer and render node on the second. do i need to change my license to network/floating? or is it just the problem of paths?

Do You have library assets installed/shared in all involved computers?

First thing to try is to make a scene of plane and teapot and scatter teapot on that plane.  Create slow bruteforce rendering settings so all computers can join in rendering on time.
This way You will find out if ForestPack is working across Your network. If it renders teapots with all nodes then Your assets are not installed/shared correctly.

Many tips can be found in this topic with few links going further which are useful to troubleshoot distributed rendering issues.

Hope this helps. If You still need help after reading mentioned posts please share what You did and what (is)/(is not) working for You.

yes,i have tried the teapot trick and it works like a charm,so it's not the problem of plugin instalation.
on render node i've added  user library (with external files) and it works. It seems like only fp library is missing.
