Title: Render Slave install after 6.1.2
Post by: UN4698 on December 20, 2019, 12:02:15 AM
Render Slaves don't render Forest Pack after 6.1.2 update.
Is there a lic change?  How do you set up the render slaves?

Vray distributed rendering worked fine this morning.  Then I made the mistake of updating FP (on all machines), and now none of the slaves will render FP.

Hi

I am sorry to hear You are facing these issues.

There were no licensing changes between these versions.
I just checked and salve works fine with latest FP.

I would recommend You to check our network rendering troubleshooting guide (https://forum.itoosoft.com/faq/distributed-rendering-issues/).

I've checked all these things.  It was working fine minutes before the update and hasn't worked since.  I upgraded again to 6.2.2.  I uninstalled it and reinstalled it 3 times.  I can't figure out how to roll back to an older version.  I do think something strange is going on because I couldn't find anyone else post the same issue.  Is there an error log or something that would give more info?

Have You read the link i gave You:

Is it A or B in Your case?
A) Installation error.
B) Missing textures/proxies.

Roll back to an older version? Just reinstall older version on workstation + render nodes.

After multiple restarts of all computers it is finally working again.  No other changes made.
