Replace forest color map / instanciate

Hi guys,
Please advise how you deal with forest color map after converting forest to instances.
I'm trying to find best solution for that. What is the best/easiest way to get similar result as forest color map.
The problem is render-farm does not have Forest Pro/Lite installed, and it is not possible to install.

for the moment I do just - delete forest color map and keep just main texture map for diffuse
as I didn't find any easy color variation solution.

Hi,

Well, at present the Forest Color map only works with objects that are a part of a Forest Pack object.

Depending on render engine used, you might find useful V-Ray's VRayMultiSubTex map - using the Random by Node handle mode / Corona's CoronaMultiTex map - the Instance mode or any third-party plug-ins for similar purposes like CG Source's MultiTexture map (free) or VizPark's Crossmap (paid).

Oh, VRayMultiSubTex map looks very similar to forest color map.
I will give it a try.
