Title: Retaining Vertex Alpha / Illumination in Forest Outpu

I found a topic from about 5 years ago that confirmed Vertex Alpha is not kept in the exported objects and it was added to a todo list. From what I can see this has still not been implemented? Any chance it might be soon?

Would You please explain in more detail what You mean. I did quick test and it seems that vertex alpha is transferred correctly:

Hmm odd. I'm not seeing that. Is there some setting I need to enable? The vertex alpha channel is empty in the forest object.

I also don't know why it's putting data in channels 3,4 and 5.

Did You use forest Tools  (https://docs.itoosoft.com/forestpack/forest-tools)to instantiate the distribution?

No, I'm just looking at the base forest object. I edited in images above.

What's more when I add UVW Mapping Paste modifiers on top of the forest object I get an awful lot of hard crashes, so I can't even set it in a different set of UVW and then move it over with out collapsing the object.
