Title: Ryzen threadripper 3970x for Forest pack?

I'm wanting to get a more powerful system to speed things up.  But before I spend a lot of money are there any issues with Forest Pack and threadripper 3970 or 3960?  Will they help?
Probably be using 128GB RAM and RTX 2080ti GPU

Using MultiCore CPU is highly recommended. I do have 1st gen Threadripper and I am very satisfied.
Although there is currently one known problem with ForestPack UI, as discussed in this thread (https://forum.itoosoft.com/forest-pro-(*)/painfully-slow/msg26093/#msg26093).
