Title: saving presets in the tree editor section
Post by: mitviz on December 14, 2017, 06:50:47 PM
i have found that  there can be issues and i have to delete the forest object and redo some scenes, is there way to save your forest configuration that belongs to that particular file so if i open it ten years from now all my custom setups in that file will stil be there? so basically i just reload anything i did as long as the surface etc has the same name and objects used to scatter

Hi Mitviz,
If I am correct then after you do all the changes and finalize the scene in the itoo FPP general tab there is an option to save the presets which you can do by clicking the save button and then you can load it in different files as well provided the  scatter objects are there in the scene or once you load the preset you can modify the scatter objects as well but it might not help if you have used custom edit mode ...
Hope this helps....

Thanks

attached is the screenshot of the general tab
