Scattered Lights not compatible with Vray "Light Select" element

Currently it seems that the Light Select element in vray ignores lights in a Forest object. This is presumable because they are no longer seen as lights, but as geometry. Is this something that can be fixed?

If i remeber well, this is a known issue which was already reported to Chaos. It happens with all instanced lights, including those generated by VRayInstancer.
