scattering different plants
« on: October 03, 2018, 05:20:55 PM »
i have a question, so what's the best way to scatter both tall wild grasses AND wildflowers scatter in there?

2 separate forest objects: i can use the same surface to scatter a) tall grasses and b) wildflowers
1 forest object: i can use the surface and add 3 tall grass custom objects plus add the 8 wildflower custom objects

i want to avoid the wildflower objects from creating a void in the tall grass objects, since the tall grass objects are about 3 ft in diameter, the wildflower objects are no bigger than 6-8" in diameter.  so wouldn't there be a missing grass object wherever there's a flower object, thus creating a "hole"?

thanks!

Hi

I would go with first option two ForestPack objects one for Tall grasses and one for Wildflowers.

I want to remind that You can use "Exclude Area" -> ForestPack object if that is what You want:
