Hello dear people from the forum I recently started using Forest Pack Pro and I was wondering how do you start to paint on a surface from scratch? What I wanna say is it possible to start painting on a surface with forest that doesn't already have scatterd items on it? I managed to do it when I first made a Forest item on a rectangle near the surface and then in the surface rollout I attached a plane on which I was able to paint then by adding a new paint area. But is it possible to do this from without the so called "hack" I used?
My 2nd problem was that I had several plants selected in the geometry rollout, and when I pick one of them to be painted in the new paint area the brush is not working like a painter instead it is revealing regions where the plant is scattered. What I want to say is that when I paint I see new areas forming but the plant is not showing on each click and I get empty areas and after a few clicks I see the plant show. It looks more like plant revealing then painting? Can some1 help?
Best,
Sofia
