Leafs in roofs
« on: June 01, 2023, 02:27:14 AM »
I have some leaves falling on a roof, using Forest, but a lot of the leaves are inside the roof. Is there a way to prevent this? I know that there is a collision, but I am pretty sure that is between forest objects.

Hi,

Please, try adjusting the Direction settings under the Surface tab (by default set to 100) - I would recommend you set it to Surface's Normal (0). Especially for these purposes, you can take advantage of the Scale to fit sloped area option. You can find more about these settings in our online reference guide.

In case of any further troubles with it, as it's really hard to say, what's happening exactly in your scene just from the provided description, if possible, please feel free to send us your scene (ideally simplified and containing just this problematic object(s)).

Thanks in advance for any further details you can share about it with us / our user community (in case some user(s) will run into similar troubles).

Best regards,
