Dear All,
Thanks a lot for your excellent plugins 8)
Last year i've posted a topic about a problem :
http://forum.itoosoft.com/index.php?topic=1703.0
My file continue to have an issue since the last time.
I've got some forestpack in my 3d scene -> one for big grass, one for little rocks...etc...
And the last for bushes which still getting bugs. (disapear during the animation rendering)
Unfortunately when I re-create a new one from my licence I ve got this : (I invit you to see the pictures below )
Any idea ??? I don't know what to do.. I ve tested everything

I remember that ITOO made some changes in their libraries (some geometry were modified)
Maybe it affects the final result - due to geometry size which forces distribution to be distinct.
-
Infact this two renders was done in the same file with geometries purchased on a website (igrass)
That's not explain why I've got different shading and placement because my both forestpack load the same geometrie/shading ?
I haven't met this issue when i've re-create all the others forestpack.. humhum
Maybe when i've downloaded the free forestpack preset I've bring to my scene somes bugs..
Still searching a solution :'(

Please, select the Forest object and run this in the Maxscript listener:
$.savedversion
What is the result ?

Hello
I've got this :
"4.1.5b Pro"
That's all.
-
Hmm When I bake the forestpack, doing a mesh snapshot, it's working, no different shading..etc..
That should be the last solution but it gives 12 million additional polygons huhuhu
Waiting for news :o

Please, send us a stripped scene to support@itoosot.com. I will check it.
If you have the original object, send it as well. We must compare both Forests.

Sended ! :D

Ok. The origin of the objects is not the same, probably because they were created in a different way. That affects the distribution. Please, do this:
1) Run in the Maxscript listener (F11): $'FOREST-RECREATED'.pos = $'FOREST_OLD-NICE'.pos
2) Check the Transform settings, are not identical (Translation Z, Rotation X/Y and Rotation Map).
3) Rebuild the new forest (Display->Update).
That should solve the problem.

Wow thanks a lot, the placement is now the same !
I've still get a different shading, if you got an idea :)
Anyway, Thanks you very much you saved my life :-*
I hope no forestpack will disappear in the final animation rendering after all of this :)
