There are bending effects in FP, but You need good 3d model in the first place.

Maybe windswept preset can be a good starting point.

Oh that´s great! I´m working with the grass models from Maxtree. I´d assume their quality is good enough?!

I´ll take a look at that preset and try to find out how the bending was done so I can edit the values if needed.
