Title: Stop Forestpack from Building Growfx

Is it possible to get a script or a workaround to stop building growfx when being used inside a forestpack when opening files. Ive tried turning on manual update on both growfx and forestpack and disable object as well, but it doesnt seem to work when I close and reopen a file.

Hi,,

Though it’s not possible to “completely skip it”, because Forest Pack needs the geometry data to perform several calculations, you can speed up the process significantly by using the Cache Mode (https://exlevel.com/growfx-manual/CacheMode.html) for used GrowFX object(s).
