Randomize rotation at fixed degrees step (SOLVED)
« on: November 16, 2016, 10:46:28 AM »
Imagine a row of plants in cubic vases (I have to manage a lot of them at the same time).
I would like to randomize rotation by the fixed step of 0° 90° 180° 270°  (every 90°), so the plants are randomized in rotation but the vases keep the regular orientation.

Is there a way to achieve this in current Forest Pro?

Thanks a lot, best regards.

Hi,

There are two possible ways and it's really up to you, which one you'll choose (the Stepped Rotation Effect / adjusting Probability Curves). Please check this related post for more details. Hope you'll find it useful.

Best regards,
