The strange thing is that I created the scene yesterday, put my computer to sleep. Came back this morning and re-loaded the scene to find the forest items had moved. Now, no matter what I do the forest geometry will not match the black and white map I've used for the override dist map.

I am wrapping the forest items around a sphere. I have max 2014 and the latest install of Forest pro 2.

I'll try a completely new scene and see what happens...

If it doesn't work, please send us the scene. We'll check it.

Here is the file. Where do I normally send support files ?

Can you let me know when you have it so I can take it down. Thanks

I've managed to resolve the issue but for some reason I had to copy the distribution map into the dist map texture slot and select map channel 1 which I didn't have to do before for it to work.....very odd.

Internally, the "Map" slot works different from the "Bitmap" button, because one loads the map as a Max texture, and the other reads the image directly. I will check if there is some problem with the bitmap method.

Btw, you can send us the files to support@itoosof.com. Usually, using a web sharing service as WeTransfer or similar.
