Transform Motion Blur (FPP 5.4.0 & V-Ray 3.60.03)
« on: October 20, 2017, 02:02:29 PM »
Hi there,

I'm attempting an effect where the trees in a forest drop in from the sky. I've achieved this by animating a greyscale gradient on the ground and using it to drive the Z transformation of the trees.

It looks exactly how I want it to, except I cannot get the trees to render with motion blur, so it looks really steppy. I'm guessing this is a limitation of the way I've set this up but if there's a solution I would really appreciate it!

Many thanks in advance.

AJ

Hi AJ,

Would you mind to describe more in detail, how the animation is set-up (plese feel free to send us your scene)? I've done a quick test with a sample scene where the Gizmo's Z postion of disstributed item is animated and it's calculating the motion blur as supposed when using Forest's Animation modes.

Best regards,
