Transparency not working on alpha. Getting black background. Help!

Can anyone help with this?  I changed the files for the opacity from TGA to PNG and still not working.  I changed every parameter possible and I still can't get rid of this.  When I changed to PNG I also got rid of the black backgound thinking this would work too and it didn't.  Using Vray 1.5 and Max 2010. It's a small bush billboard.  Thanks in advance.

Hi Guys.  I figured out my own issue.  Make sure that the material is converted to a Vray material and reassign the object back to the forest collection.
