Trees stop at slopes

Hi guys,
any ideas why Forest isn't distributing my trees at these slight slopes? I'm not using any slope or height thresholds or anything like that. I only use 2 surfaces and a spline to include where the trees go. I'll post a MAX file but maybe it's obvious to someone what is wrong just from the screen cap
Thx

HI,
Have you told Forest Pack to update the Surface since modelling the slopes? There's an autoupdate option in the Surface rollout too. This still catches me out sometimes.

Yeah, tried refresh but everything was modeled before I added FP.

Is there any chance the normals are flipped for that section? It's probably easiest if you upload the problematic surface so we can take a closer look.
Best,
Paul

Don't think so. Here's the file.

PLease reset the XForm for the surfaces, that would appear to fix it. In XY Mode, Forest Pack expects the Z-axis of the surface object to align with the FP object's local Z axis.
Cheers,

Aaah shit...I think I had a similar issue already and asked about it before and forgot about the XForm! Sorry, thanks!!! Now you know, when someone has a stupid issue like that just say reset the XForm

Normally the first thing I think of. I blame the fact that it's Monday.
