Unwanted Offset of Distribution
« on: September 01, 2019, 03:36:56 PM »
Hi,
i have a strange problem with FP. There is a pretty plain poly; and when creating the FP, the result is shifted away from the object. I tried it with a new plane, I looked up any offsets in the FP Object without success. I´m not that new to FP, so hopefully I didn´t miss something obvious. Does someone have an idea?

Hi

Probably pivots are translated for Your scattered objects.

If something is not as expected we first recommend to try these troubleshooting steps:
  • Check Pivot placement for scattered objects
  • Reset XForm for surface object
  • Make sure surface normals are facing up
  • delete forest_templates layer and recreate ForestPack object again

If that does not help,- please share Your scene here or  use this form to contact us if You can't attach files publicly.
Also You can use WeTransfer if compressed file is bigger than 6MB and paste the link in message.
