Hi, it can be turned off at Update Manager->Preferences->General->"Automatically check for Updates...".

It's strange. Please, would you check the value for the following registry ?

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Itoo Software\Update Manager\Preferences\Check For Updates

This key is used by FP and RC to launch Update Manager or not, and it's configured at the Update Manager Preferences.

Thanks,

Thank you for the reply, well it turns out the value is not there. Should I add it?

Please merge this registry key.

Let us know if that helped.

Have you disabled it at Update Manager->Preferences ?

To use the registry file, just download the .reg file and run it with double click. But theorically it should not be necessary with latest updates.
