Hi
I have a large scene, many forest packs, and hundreds of manually placed trees. I have the overide tint in the forest pack material working great, except it is only working on the trees within the forest pack. Is there any way I can get this working on the manually placed trees?
Thanks!

Forest Color doesn't work with stand-alone objects, because it requires some internal data that are provided by the plugin.
Anyway, you would create a Forest object in "Custom Edit" mode. It lets you to edit each tree individually and supports all the tint features.
Since you have many trees already placed, i suggest to use Tree Editor->Creation Tools->Reference Objects, to create automatically the trees taking as reference the existing objects:

Thanks for getting back so quickly last week, I made use of your advice and brought all the trees into forest pack. The only problem with the process was that I had to produce a new forest pack for each of the 15 different tree models (otherwise they would be rotated incorrectly) I am controlling the material off a gradient ramp that is instanced to each forest pack.
Is there anyway that I can merge forest packs in custom edit mode together?
Thanks

Yes, in the Tree Editor rollout you can find the Attach/Detach buttons, exactly for this purpose.
