Title: Vertex color variation

Hi.

I have seen that maxtree.com and growfx have something called vertex color u can assign on objects so it can look more realistic.

Will there be some similar feature in the future.?

Hi,

The Vertex Color map is already supported. In case of Forest Pack the own map used to add color variation to the Forest items is the Forest Color map. Anyway, as you can check in our online reference guide (http://docs.itoosoft.com/display/FORESTPACK/Forest+Color), Forest Color lets you use a map to define the variation. As you can see in the attached screenshot, it can be overridden also by a Vertex Color map. So, feel free to do some tests with the Vertex Paint modifier and Vertex Color together with Forest Pack.
