Vray 7 update release date?

I know it's quite soon but would you have a date for a compatible version of Forest Pro and Railclone for vray 7?

We plan to release versions of our plugins (Forest Pack and RailClone) with support for the recently launched V-Ray 7 soon - over the next few days, although we haven't set a specific release date yet. Thank you for your understanding.

after it'd happen (the forest pack version that supports vray 7), will ivies be visible in vantage without "mesh mode"?
or Chaos, in it's turn, would have to make changes as well?

That depends exclusively of the Chaos updates.
We know that ForestIvy will be supported for V-Ray 7 GPU, but we have not news about Vantage.

It's a shame that you guys aren't kept in the loop before Chaos has an update ready, as a lot of people are waiting for the iToo update before upgrading Vray. Were you guys part of the Beta? Either the private one that started in August or the Public one that started a month ago? Or do they change things around too much with official builds?

That is unfortunate. You said a few days on the first, and now you are saying maybe within a week. Why don't developers work together on these things? It took six months to get something to work with MAX 2025.

I don't think a few days or even weeks will make any difference. If you work classically, it takes a while to switch to the new version anyway. You need to test everything etc. You can't switch to a new version of V-ray/3dsmax/whatever as soon as it comes out. You can maybe do that as freelancers, but even for them it will be a problem. Just open an older project that needs editing and you can't count on everything being OK. Test first.

I apologize for the delay. There are a few changes in the final build which were not in the beta.
Also it's not the same to compile an internal build, that release a stable package. We must prepare our compilation machine (V-Ray 7 uses a new compiler version), modify installers, etc.
