Title: VRay IPR and Custom Edit

Hello guys,
I have a very annoying problem with FP custom edit while working with IPR .
the problem is that all the items will disappear from the viewport ( still show in the render) and even if I press Ctrl +A to select everything I can't select them till I stop the IPR .
I'm using 3ds Max 2023.2 , VRay 6.1 and of course FP latest update too (8.0.9)
let me know if you need any further info .

I've searched the forums and it seems that this issue is a well-known with VRay IPR and FP.
could you please share an update about if it is possible to fix in any near future?

Hi,

I'm checking this and making some changes.
If there are not problems, Custom Edit with IPR should work correctly for the next Forest update.

I'm using the workaround that's mentioned in the other thread (changing from Small Dot to Large dot or the opposite) .
I couldn't find the Maxscript command for this option using "Show $" , is it accessible ?

This specific value is not accesible from Maxscript, because is not a parameter of the Forest object (it's a global config value, stored at 'forestpack.ini').
But you can change any other parameter, for example Cloud Density: '$.cloudens = 50'

I just wanted to say that I've installed the new update (8.1.0) and IPR is working perfectly smooth without any bugs while I'm  in edit mode!
I pretty happy with the new experience and it will make my life much easier for the current project I'm working on .

Wow,
Being able to edit while on IPR again after such a long time of FP disappearing on the viewport is just.... amaaazing...
