Hello,
We have the same problem as described in this post:

The license server is connected via a VPN connection.
Only one of several computers has the Winsock 10049 error, regardless of whether it is addressed via the IP address or the host name. All the others work fine
How can I fix the problem?

I could solve the problem.
I had written the IP address like \\192.168.5.5 After removing the two backslashes the connection works.
