Hello,
I´m searching for a shader or material that allows me to render procedurally generated soft or irregular transitions between Multi/Sub Object Materials. Like on the attached image Multisub_transition.jpg
I know there are a few ways to do this manually, like using a vertex color mask etc but with more complex landscape scenes this approach takes some time ;)
Would it be possible to integrate such a shader/feature in Forest Pro or RailClone?
Thanks, Thomas

Great Plugin, thanks for the hint ;)
Unfortunately it has some limitations, because we are always have to deal with very complex landscapes, working with edit mesh is not an option. I´ve attached two renderings.
We would need a plugin exactly like this one, but with an extra modifier to define an edge ID to limit the ColorEdge map per ID. Or an ColorEdge ID selector in the edit poly modifier.
Would that be possible?

Hi, i would like to improve ColorEdge, but unfortunately we are very busy with Forest and RailClone... there is no spare time to work in other plugins. :(

That´s really too bad, but thanks anyway Carlos.
If there will be an improved version of ColorEdge (or a Pro version) in the future, I´m definitely willing to pay for it :)
That would make things much easier in our workflow.
