Post by: Bobby Parker on May 30, 2024, 07:23:11 pm: I have Forest items that I use repeatedly. I merge them, but they are showing as ticks on the beta. It is displaying as if it can't find the proxy, but it renders fine.

In a recent project I found that when using vray proxies in the beta you need to show them as full geometry, otherwise they will show extremely small, but it will render fine

Yes this should be corrected. Because a lot of people use VrayProxy even though ForestColor is not working properly (FP8). Their workflow is set to VrayProxy and having everything display on FullMesh is not a very happy solution. It makes the scene take longer to load.

What I do is to display as box from 3ds Max display dont know it this affects loading times but it helps me not showing in viewport, also I put all scattered objects in an invisible layer
Hope this could be fixed

Next beta update will be available soon.

For the the stable release, it's difficult to estimate.
That depends of the reported bugs, suggestions and changes proposed while the beta. But not less thant a couple of months, i guess.
