Macros for materials in linrary not working
« on: November 23, 2020, 12:31:14 PM »
Hi,
I was trying out the new Forest pack 7 beta.
In the material library i noticed the macro button for setting the renderer missing. Also previous libraries which had the option already set up no longer show the material when opening it.

Is it missing ?

It is showing here [in green] rectangle:

Maybe You have this bottom bar hidden ? You can hide it using Options button [in red]

its the select material.
previously this used to show the list of materials in the material  library, now it shows empty.
Please see the the attached image.
also there was a button for adding the macro needed to specify the path of the material library, that too is missing, this time around.

Also would,it be possible to retain the old way of importing objects into the library. As there are times when we have the folders set up and want the path for the max file to reflect the original without it being pointed to the objects folder.
The new way forces new max files to be created and cannot import multiple objects from multiple 3dsmax files.

this is still not solved. Even worse ... automatic selection of materials imports wrong materials and even manual selection (for example vray) imports wrong materials. whats going on lately

In our tests, both the material selector and import seems to work fine with the standard libraries.

Please, would you specific your case ?
If it fails only with your custom libraries, please send us a library example to check it.

Thanks,
