Max crashes when rendering after upgrading to the 9 beta

Thanks for the minidump.

I could identify where is the problem. It will be fixed on next update.

Thank you... any pointers on something I can do on my end in the meantime? or just go back to the stable version? (was really looking forward to play with Forestivy...)

Crash happens only rendering Forest on 'Surface UV' mode. It doesn't affect to XY mode or ForestIvy.

You can bypass the crash setting Display->Render->Simplification Level = 1 (default value is 0).
Anyway, please note that once fixed the bug (for next beta update), you must revert this value to zero, to get the right distribution.

Thank you! I was using UV mode because I have stacked surfaces on the same object and I never quite figured out how to make that work in XY mode...
