pyramids

I can't get rid of them in my render. I have them set in the display, but they render the pyramids. Even if I set the display back to mesh, the render as pyramids.

3DS MAX 2018 and V-Ray NEXT Beta 2 and was happening in Beta 1, too.

Just checking

You have two choices, how it is displayed on screen and how it is rendered. make sure under Render, it is set to Mesh

Is it happening in vray IPR? It happens for me in IPR.

Strange I am using Max 2014, with latest FP beta 6.0.2 and if i set viewport display to pyramid and use IPR, I also get pyramids in the render, but normal render is fine..and I'm using Vray 3.60.04.

However, if I stop IPR and set to point cloud in the viewport, it renders just fine. Can't switch while using IPR though and DEFINITELY wouldn't suggest setting viewport to mesh, unless yo want to slow down the system to a crawl, especially with a large scene

This issue affects only to IPR, and is already fixed for next build.
