Hi there!
not sure if anyone mentioned already, couldn't find it here, so :

the filter text box in the library browser (upper right corner) only considers item-names STARTING with "filtertext"...
which is pretty useless when using item-names starting with a number (as evermotion does).
it should consider either "*" + "filtertext" + "*" or at least accept the "*" char....

regards!

here some further thoughts:

i think simply by adding some optional attributes to the xml-files, the library browser could become much more powerful.

...search and filter options are key features i would expect from a library.

now its more like a 3dsmax integrated pdf-catalog viewer (plus the auto-merge/x-ref of course)

but you cannot display only trees with name containing "maple" and height >= 8.0 meters (for example)

so you have to browse through all your folders to find items with specific attributes.

here is how my "dream" library browser would look like : (see attachment)

Thanks for your suggestions. I've added them to our to-do list.

We have plans to rewrite the library browser completely (hopefully for the next major update). By now we are taking ideas, so all suggestions are welcome.

It would be nice if browser could automatically extract some info from object: number of polygons and bounding box dimmensions
