Ivy is grown different on each frame.
« on: September 05, 2025, 07:51:39 pm »
Hi!
I am having trouble with Forest Ivy in multiple scenes, however the problem only seems to arise when using the European varigated ivy. There is flickering between frames, it looks like the ivy is grown a bit different between the frames. I use the latest version of Forest Pack Pro and render using Vray. As you can see in the animation Everything seems fine except for the flickering of the european varigated ivy (look at the top of the archs). Link to youtube clip:

Thanks!

Hi Tobias,

We'll do some render tests here with the European varigated ivy.
Anyway, if you can send us a simplificated scene (we need only the ivy and camera), it may be very helpful to identify the problem.

Thanks,

Hi again!
Just sent you a scene that shows the problem. Perhaps the problem has to do with my ivy setup, I am trying to achieve a dried up and almost dead ivy with very few leaves..
Thanks

I am also facing same issue. Kindly suggest a solution. This mostly happens when the frames are rendered over network.

Please make sure all your render nodes are running the same ForestPack version — this caused the issue for another user. We’d appreciate any feedback you can share about this issue, either with us or with the user community, in case others run into the same problem.

Best regards,
