No, sorry. Actually we have not ColorEdge tutorials, but if you have some question about the plugin, please ask me.

The plugin is a procedural texture, it can be used in any map slot (diffuse, opacity...), not specifically in a mix material.

As instance, you can use it as opacity map for a road texture, to soften the edges over the terrain.

So in your example scene you have a road over, not cut into the grass. You used the ColorEdge in the opacity slot I am assuming.

Do you have a 2011 build?  I am using the 2010 and it doesn't seem to work in 2011.

I just tested it and works fine for me (2010 in Max 2011). What is the problem exactly ?
