ColorEdge problem in max 9 32bit

First of thank you so much for the plugin it's really usefull.

Now to the trouble:
After applying a material with ColorEdge to any object and rendering it, moving the object behaves erratically and max has a tendency to crash.
Doing the same without ColorEdge produces no weird behaviour or crashing.

Is this a known issue?

What version of Max are you using ?
