glue plugin- objects are being set down too far

I have a terrain I made and some buildings I want to set down on it.  When I "glue" these buildings, they are set down too far, to what looks like their midpoints, vertically.  They go down as far as that little X-Y-Z icon that comes up when you select an object.  any thoughts?

I think there is some problem with the scale and offset transforms. Please, try this:

- Use 'Reset XForm' tool with the terrain and apply Glue.
- If that doesn't work, use XForm with the buildings too.
