Crash railclone lite 4.2.1

Hello everyone,

I attempted succesfully the city tutorial with railclone, which is compatible with RC lite.

Every time I wish to modify the RC object via a new spline or modify the spline it crashes.
I tried to disable the instancing engine and increase the faces limit etc.... but no luck.
I tried on 2 different workstations and on Max 2014-2017-2020 and still the same behavior.
I also obtained the same crash via very basic geometry.

If anyone has any idea it would be greatly appreciated.

Most likely textures are not needed.
