Custom Bench

Hello all

I want to create a bench similar to the one shown in the attached graphic.  It Morphs from a barred bench with a back to having no back.  I can not achieve this with a loft since the number of vertices is not the same from the starting shape to the ending shape.

Is this possible to do with Railclone?

Hi Greg,

Unfortunately I think this would be difficult to achieve in RailClone as RailClone works be deforming existing geometry Segments. The only way I think it could be done is by using 3 pieces of geometry, the low seat, the full height seat, and a ramped transition. This 3 pieces could be modelled straight and then deformed along the path using RailClone.

I am currently trying to morph from the start shape to the end shape.  If I can get that maybe I can also introduce a 3rd shape as you suggested.
