Title: is this supposed to happen?
Post by: Alexander Alvarez on August 19, 2022, 04:44:10 PM
clipping area + top --> not placing the objects on top of each row
clipping area at different angles creates weird placement of geometry

how can these be fixed? video attached

Hi,

Thanks for contacting us. That's normal behaviour in this case. The A2S generator always creates a rectangular array and the segments in the top input are assigned to the top row of that array. Clipping areas are always calculated once the array has been created, removing or slicing segments to remove them from the rectangular array. I'm afraid each column isn't calculated independently with a top segment at different height.

I hope that makes sense,
Paul
