Hi guys,
I would like to have some objects following two different lines (X and Y) but always facing the same direction (e.g. only the Y direction).
Here is what I did with a super simple Railclone: Linear 1S, Spline and segment. The object is always fancing perpendicular to the line, but what I need is that the object doesn´t move its direction regardless of the spline direction. Is this even possible?
Thank you all in advance.

Hi,
You can rotate the entire RailClone object and adjust the Transform > Fixed > Rotation accordingly.
I hope that helps.

I tried what you suggested but they are always facing diferent directions. Maybe I didn´t get what you mean exactly.

Matching splines in different directions can be tricky. Please find attached a sample scene (240607_XSplineXDirectionSampleScene_iToo.max) that demonstrates a possible style setup using an expression that evaluates the XSplineXDirection attribute. I hope this helps.

You are a lifesaver! I don´t think I could get to this solution by myself. Thank you so much!
