Railclone Rendering Glitch
« on: April 24, 2018, 03:06:13 PM »
Hello,

I'm having the most aggravating issue with rendering a railclone object. See attached. Image 1 shows the problem, this is the image that Max saves to disk, Image 2 is the same scene, but screengrabbed from the frame buffer (It's correct), Image 3 is the GI pass from Image 1, showing the correct geometry. At some point, before max writes the final image, it completely destroys the railclone object as seen in image 1. It looks correct in the frame buffer, but when the image is finished rendering this occurs. I have absolutely no idea how to fix this or what's going on, I'm completely at a loss.

Max 2017
Vray 3.6
Railclone 3.0.9
Writing to .exr

Any Thoughts?

Thanks for your reply, but I'm sorry, it's confidential, and I can't post it.

I just sent it, I sent the whole thing, just in case something in the scene was triggering it.

I'm slightly suspicious that it might be the Vray denoiser
