RC Lite - deformation
« on: February 20, 2025, 02:39:39 PM »
Hi people. Can you help me please? I am trying to create stairs with my own railing but - When I create a line for my railing to follow, my railing starts to deform and I can't create the railing as it should be in real life. Could you please help me how to set it up correctly? You can see it in an attachment on a picture. For example sphere isn't sphere. Thank you for your help.

Hi Martin,

Adjusting the Flat Top and Flat Bottom values should help. As mentioned in our documentation, when working in Vertical mode, these parameters allow you to flatten the top or bottom of a geometry. The values define the maximum distance (along the Z-axis) where the effect is applied, starting from either the top or bottom of the geometry. This feature is especially useful for railing posts and works as a combination of Vertical and Stepped modes within the same segment.

I hope that helps.

Best regards,
