Title: Segment does NOT conform to surface.

Hi, I'm trying to get a segment to conform to a surface, but it only does it in the X direction and will not conform on the Y direction.

Please HELP!

Hi,

Please try enabling the Align Y with Surface option in the Segment's properties. Although this doesn't deform the geometry, it will rotate the segment to follow the surfaces normals .

Thank you Paul. But for some reason it's not conforming like the one running in the X direction. As you can see its not deforming in the Y direction, only in the X. Any other ideas?

Does it have to do with the way I created the segment?

Try using A2S Generator. I think I had the same issue a long time ago.

I hope there is a simple solution to this problem. I tried setting the "Align Y with surface" to no avail. There has to be a solution to why only segments drawn along the X axis conform to surfaces and segments drawn along the Y axis DO NOT conform to surface.

PLEASE HELP!

The L1S generator wasn't designed to deform on the Y axis, however you can do it with the A2S generator. Please see the attached file for an example.
