Clusters in Railclone
« on: July 31, 2017, 03:05:38 PM »
Hi folks,

I am trying to generate a very simple running bond brick wall using RC. My reason for using RC here is because it properly handles slicing.

The one thing I can't seem to do is scatter these brick objects with any kind of Clustering, like we have in FPP, which works perfectly.

Is there any kind of clustering control in RC?

Cheers,
Alex York

Hi Alex,

The Clusters feature isn't available in RailClone (as the object is build in a completely different way), but let me mention, that since RC3 there's the RailClome Color map available. It supports the Get Color from Map - As texture on Surface feature, which you might find useful.

Best regadrs,

Thanks Michal, that's what I suspected.

Unfortunately that RC Color Map isn't really helping us in this case, since we need localised cluster control, which is perfect in FP. We're looking into other options.

Thanks,
Alex York
