Rope Barrier
A new scene, created RC object and selected Belt barrier.
Looks like a small issue at posts, no?

Hi,

This style appears to be behaving correctly for me.

Would you mind verifying that the corner vertices of the base spline are set to Corner. If that doesn't help if you could upload a sample scene here that would be great.

Many thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

I tried it again with a new spline and it works if the verts are corner.  If you switch them to bezier or corner-bezier, the style creates the issue I posted before.
So, what happens, if you happen to need bezier verts in the spline? (Just wondering.)

Thanks,

Hi,

Unfortunately this particular style was designed to work with Corners only. The problem is that the posts rotate to follow the angle of the spline at the vertex but the band takes a shortcut and heads in a straight line to the next post, so they don't align.

In this style we've used Fillet Corner to average out the post rotation but this only works on corner and bezier-corner vertices and has no effect on the evenly segments. I'll take another look at the style and see if there's another way to construct it.

Many thanks,

Paul

Hi Paul,

Thanks for the answer.  Should be fine for me as is, to be honest!
