Hi,

Which version of Vray/RailClone are You using? Is it consistent or random crashing?

If possible, please send us the minidump when Max crashes or better a minimal max scene and steps how to reproduce the crash. It would be most helpful to find the problem.

Thanks,
Rokas

I have observed this also.
Here's a link to a Video capture:  https://www.dropbox.com/s/fi63qcj5ie5fus5/RailClone_Vray_IPR_1.mp4?dl=0
In this case the crash occurs when "use segment material" is checked.  I'm using 3DS max 2020.2, Vray Next 4.10.03.   I initially saw this occur with RailClone 4.09, but 4.1 has the same issue.  Also of note in the video - the Railclone object disappears.  You will also note that the crash does not occur immediately, but after several adjustments of the material.   Max file attached.

Hope this helps
